The EAKC is host to The Labrador Retriever Club, as well as the German Shepherd League(GSDL) of East Africa. Each of these clubs is specialized to its specific breed, and hold an annual show as well as offering training.
Both Clubs offer excellent training classes for you and your dog. The Labrador Club offers continual year round obedience classes, puppy classes, advanced obedience and retrieving practice, while the GSD League offers courses of 10 classes with an exam at the end. Classes are open to all breeds.
Aside from this there is Ladies Kennel Association(LKA) which is a small club in charge of running 1 Championship Dog Show annually., the Junior Kennel Club (JKCEA) and the Boerboel Association (BAEA) who are the current stud book for the Boerboel in East Africa, until such time as the Boerboel can be recognised and absorbed in to the EAKC Register.
